Organization Structure
A student-led body under IFMSA and EMSA Ethiopia, governed from the national assembly down to five focused committees on the ground in Gondar.
History & Purpose
EMSA-Gondar is a student-led, non-profit association at the University of Gondar, operating under IFMSA and EMSA Ethiopia to represent medical students and serve the wider community.
We work to improve community health by raising awareness on pressing health issues and organizing advocacy-driven events, while helping medical students grow into well-rounded health professionals who stay engaged with their community's wellbeing.
As a branch of Ethiopian Medical Students' Association — Gondar, EMSA-Gondar sits within a national network that coordinates standing committees, shares resources across university chapters, and connects members to the wider IFMSA federation of medical students worldwide.
